Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.

Read Thru the Bible FAQs

How do I start?

It’s simple!  Grab a Bible and start reading the daily assignments.  Or use the links to read in your browser.  There is no official sign-up process.  However, if you’d like to receive reminders and encouragement, contact Steve Howell at steve@tongiecc.org or (913) 845-2821 to join our list.

What plan are you using?

We are using a plan that gives you a daily reading from the Old Testament, the New Testament, and Psalms or Proverbs.

How long will it take me to read each day?

Your reading will usually take 15-30 minutes to complete.  Some days may be shorter, some longer.  Most chapters of the Bible are less than one page long.

Where can I find the daily assignments?

You can find the assignments here on this page.  They will also be listed in the bulletin at TCC’s weekly worship gatherings, or you can pick up a list at our welcome center.

Are there any tips to keep me on track?

Follow these Bible Reading Tips to make your reading a regular part of each day.

Who can I talk to if I have questions?

Contact our Associate Minister of Adult Education, Steve Howell, at steve@tongiecc.org or (913) 845-2821.  He will be happy to answer any questions you have.
