Each week during the 9:15 worship gathering, Middle and High School students are invited to participate in and study God’s word. This is organized by grade level, and our teachers have a passion for instilling the Word of God into the lives of students.
Offered in conjunction with TCC’s NiteLife program on Wednesday evenings in the fall and spring, Middle and High School students have the opportunity to share life together. Through passionate worship through music, biblically grounded teaching, study of the Word, and team building games & activities, students have the opportunity to grow in faith and maturity while developing solid interpersonal skills and relationships.
Christ in Youth (CIY)
Each year, our students have an opportunity to attend a several days-long spiritual formation conference. MIX is for Middle School students, and MOVE is for High School students. Each conference offers life-changing opportunities through high-energy worship, relevant topics, notable speakers, group activities, and quiet time to go deeper in the Word and study the character and attributes of God.
Each Wednesday night during NiteLife, the Middle and High School students are led by their peers in meaningful worship. Students with musical abilities are also invited to audition and play or sing with the adult Creative Arts Team on Sunday mornings!
Being on mission is an important part of a life in Christ. Every other year, our High School students are invited to participate in a short-term trip to Mexico. Hard work and opportunities to speak life into those in less fortunate situations are part of the experience.
Christian college events
Each year, TCC offers opportunities for Middle and High School students to attend a weekend retreat at one of the Christian colleges we currently support.
Turning Point (Nebraska Christian College)
The Event (Ozark Christian College)
Oasis (Manhattan Christian College)
Each event is geared toward dealing with spiritual formation and relevant challenges facing young students in today’s culture.
