LVCO Fair Recap: 6,700 Cars and Countless Gospel Opportunities
What a week! Tonganoxie Christian Church showed up strong to serve at the Leavenworth County Fair, and the results were incredible—we parked nearly 6,700 cars, a new record!
From one blazing hot evening to several pleasant ones… two calm nights to three absolute madhouses… our volunteers handled it all like champs! They were dedicated, cheerful, flexible, and willing to jump in wherever needed. Whether they were steering traffic, handing out water, or feeding the crew, their servant hearts shined—even when drivers tested their patience! LOL
But this week wasn’t just about parking cars or raising money. The fair reminds us of the community we’re here to serve. It’s a real-time look at the people of Tonganoxie, and it begs the question: Are we ready to reach them with the Gospel? We need to be
.
Thanks to this effort, we will be able to bless others beyond our walls:
This wasn’t about boosting church finances—it was above and beyond giving, a beautiful expression of generosity that helps build bridges and open doors.
Let’s keep praying that these acts of service help us build real relationships and lead to real conversations about Jesus. That’s the point. That’s the mission. And we’re just getting started!
