Loving God's Family

John’s letter highlights the concept that God has chosen us to be his children. That status as a “child of God” must become a primary identity for us in the church! It grounds us in His love and His choosing, and it motivates us to act differently. If we are family, we need to believe the truth, love our siblings, and pursue purity. In short, we need to live like a child of God!
